Zurvex is a calm, immersive space built for you to capture, organize and revisit the dreams you want to remember. Just as Zurvex never interprets or judges your dreams, we put your privacy first — your dreams are deeply personal, and they belong only to you.

This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle information when you use the Zurvex service, covering all features including your interactive night-sky map, emotion tracking, and personalized dream atlas.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is required to deliver the Zurvex experience you expect:

• Information You Provide: All content you actively add to your atlas: dream titles, personal written descriptions, optional photos from your library, mood markers, custom symbol tags, and usage metrics you generate (like your recording streak, total entry count, and emotion tracking data).
• Limited Automatic Usage Data: We collect anonymized, non-personal data to improve app performance, fix crashes, and refine features. This data never includes any of your personal dream content.

2. How We Use Your Information

All information we handle is used exclusively to deliver and improve your personal dream atlas experience, including:

• Generating your interactive night-sky map of dreams, with tappable points of light for each entry
• Powering mood filtering, symbol frequency tracking, and your Emotion Trail timeline with month/year views and mood breakdowns
• Building your personalized constellation-style overview on the Self tab and maintaining your recording streak
• Fixing technical issues and improving the stability and usability of Zurvex

We never use your personal dream content for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose. We never share your private content with third parties without your explicit permission.

3. Data Storage & Your Full Control

We built Zurvex to put you in complete control of your data:

• By default, all your dream data is stored only on your personal device. Our servers never have access to your private dream content when you use default local storage.
• If you choose optional cloud sync, all your data is end-to-end encrypted, and only you can access it.
• You can export all of your dream data at any time, in a human-readable format.
• You can delete individual dream entries or all of your data permanently at any time, with no extra steps required.

4. Third-Party Services

Zurvex only uses limited, trusted third-party services to keep the app running smoothly, such as cloud hosting for optional sync and anonymous crash reporting. All third parties we work with are required to adhere to strict privacy standards, and none of them receive access to your identifiable personal dream content. We never sell any of your personal information to any third party.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our service or practices. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes that impact your rights, we will provide clear notice within the Zurvex app.
